William Blake is an American artist who reenacts as artist-correspondents, including Winslow Homer and Edwin Forbes, at American Civil War battle reenactments. His work has appeared in Fine Art Connoisseur, New American Paintings, and the Chicago Tribune.

He studied at the Florence Academy of Art, the Glasgow School of Art, and graduated from the University of Illinois with a BFA in Painting.  He has been a resident artist at the Berkshire Painting Residency in New York as well as the Vermont Studio Center.  He completed a Masters of Fine Arts degree at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University where he then taught Sketching Philadelphia and Figure Painting.
